Oh well, I have some other ideas. One small error. For Spielberg it was 7 best picture nominees. MUNICH was also nominated for best picture. The funny thing about Brando too had to do with the fact that the woman who came on stage to decline his Oscar for the treatment of Native Americans wasn't even Native American. She was an actor.Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07791874407034792732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7265542383492628438.post-78399974796078885092010-11-15T20:34:44.382-07:002010-11-15T20:34:44.382-07:00Wow, excellent blog Naseby. I think yo're right, most of the times the Oscars are ruled by policies, depriving the rightful winner of said honor. I have a question for you here: do you think Colin Firth may win this year for The King's Speech, after loosing last year against Jeff Bridges? I'm thinking that as Bridges had lost many times before and they gave it to him maybe not because he deserved it, but because he had deserved it once before, but now they want to make it up for Colin Firth. Maybe? Anyway, I'm just expeculating, the film hasn't even been released yet...CACBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459075690401237865noreply@blogger.com
